I’m Yulia, a Ukrainian-born artist based in Netanya, Israel. After a career in technology, I chose to make painting my main work. I work with acrylics, oils and mixed media, building each piece through layers of colour and texture.

Women are at the heart of many of my paintings, often alongside birds, flowers and animals. I’m interested in the strength and vulnerability we carry together.

​Alongside exhibiting internationally, I lead art classes in my Netanya studio, where beginners and experienced painters can explore materials and develop their own ideas.
